Please join me in welcoming our new Professional Academic Advisor, Jami Grosser. Jami will join The Advising Center team on July 15th.
Jami Grosser joins us from Cal Poly Pomona where she served in various Student Affairs positions over the past eleven years. Most recently, she was asked to assist as the Senior Coordinator for Orientation Services. Prior to that, she held positions as the Coordinator for the Pride (LGBTQ+) Center and Senior Coordinator for the Cultural Centers. Jami also brings four years of experience from the University of California, Riverside; as well as previous work in admissions and residential life. Jami is excited to be able to continue supporting CSU students as part of GI 2025, and hopes that her inclusion lens and holistic focus will be a good addition to The Advising Center and supporting our Seawolves!
Jami received her bachelor’s degree in Life Science (Pre-Optometry) and Women’s Studies from Kansas State University, and a master’s degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Arizona State University. In her spare time, Jami enjoys reading, movies, health food stores, green tea, and hanging out with her wife Shelbi, and their dog Baxter.
