Free Legal Services in DREAM Center

September 9, 2019
Salazar Quad

Beginning September 19, 2019, free legal services will be available on our campus for undocumented students, as well as students and staff with legal immigration questions. The primary types of legal services to be offered are general consultations, DACA renewals, and general assistance in filling out forms such as family-based petitions.

These services are made possible due to the support of the State of California in collaboration with the Department of Social Services and the CSU Chancellor's Office. Sonoma State has been chosen to be the hub for the Northern California Region (CSU Chico, Humboldt State, and Sacramento State Universities) and will have a full-time immigration attorney and paralegal on-site. Both are employed by the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA).

Please contact the DREAM Center at (707) 664-3541, dreamcenter@sonoma.edu or stop by their office in Salazar 1060 for more information.
