The Center for Academic Access and Student Enrichment (CAASE) comprises five departments supporting underrepresente and underserved students attending Sonoma State University.
The Educational Opportunity Program provides access, academic support, and transitional services improving the retention of historically low income and educationally disadvantaged students.

Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally funded Department of Education TRIO program which provides a variety of academic and personal support services to first-generation, low-income undergraduate students, and undergraduate students with disabilities to ensure they successfully navigate college and graduate with a bachelor’s degree.

Pre-Collegiate Programs
Since 1964, TRiO programs have been helping first-generation, low-income students prepare for and successfully graduate from College. Here at Sonoma State we are honored to be part of that impactful legacy!
