I am pleased to announce that Rose Calzontzi has been selected as the Interim TRIO SSS Operations Manager.
Rose has worked for SSU’s TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) programs for the past seven years, and is excited to continue supporting first-generation, low-income students, and students with disabilities in this new position. As she transitions to her new role, she looks forward to collaborating and building partnerships that support the success of TRIO SSS participants.
Rose is a Sonoma County native, earning her undergraduate degree from Sonoma State University in Environmental Studies, and is currently enrolled in the Master of Public Administration program at CSU San Bernardino. Prior to working for SSU, she worked in the field of natural resources management as a Watershed Coordinator in the northern Sacramento Valley. When not working, she enjoys spending time running and backpacking on local trails and in the Eastern Sierra Nevada and White mountains, introducing others to backpacking, discovering craft breweries, and spending time with family.
